Erin VanDewerker and Jeremy Seeley are engaged to marry Aug. 18.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bruce and Michele VanDewerker of Cherry Valley. She is a 2003 graduate of Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology and her teaching certification in elementary education from Utica College in 2008, and her master's degree in literacy from the State University at Albany in 2010. She is employed by The Arc Otsego in Oneonta as a transition specialist.
The groom-to-be is the son of Mark Seeley of Sidney, Kelly Deaver of South Carolina, and Kim Viele of Vestal. He graduated from Bainbridge-Guilford Central School in 2006, and is studying accounting at Herkimer County Community College. He plans to graduate in 2012 with his associate degree. He is employed by Community Bank in Oneonta.
The couple live in Cherry Valley.
