Nicole Sheff and Jonathan Baumgartner of Amherst are engaged to marry.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Elizabeth Sheff of Maryland. She is a 2003 graduate of the State University College at Geneseo and a 2007 graduate of the University at Buffalo, where she earned a clinical Doctorate Degree in audiology. She is employed as an audiologist at Audiology Service Associates in Williamsville.
Her fiance is the son of Michael Baumgartner and Dori Powell of Tonawanda. He is a 2001 graduate of the State University College at Geneseo and a 2003 graduate from Buffalo State College. He is employed as a middle school social studies teacher in Elma.
The wedding ceremony and reception will be June 2 in Buffalo.
