Kelly Maryn Bergeron and Ryan Patrick Myers are engaged to marry Oct. 6 in Oneonta.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Schenevus Central School. She received a bachelor's degree in speech and language disabilities from the State University College at Cortland in 2006, and a master's degree in communicative disorders and sciences from the State University College at Geneseo in 2007. She works in Frederick, Md., for the Frederick County Public Schools as a speech-language pathologist.
The groom-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Union Local High School in Morristown, Ohio. He received a bachelor's degree in sports science from Ohio University in 2003, and received his golf management degree in 2005 from the Golf Academy of America. He owns a small business specializing in junior golf instruction in Frederick, Md.
The bride-to-be is daughter of Mark and Deborah Bergeron of Morris.
The groom-to-be is son of Patrick and Virginia Myers of Bethesda, Ohio.
The couple live in Frederick, Md.
