The parents of Melanie Williams and Jerry Warner III announce the engagement of their children.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edward and the late Leigh Williams of Denver.
Her fiance is the son of Jerry and Linda Warner Jr. of Stamford.
The bride-to-be, a 2000 graduate of Roxbury Central School, earned two bachelor's degrees, a B.S. in genetic engineering and a B.A. in psychology, in 2005 from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pa. She is employed as operations manager of Full Moon Resort in Big Indian.
Her fiance is a 1997 graduate of Stamford Central School and equipment operation program from NCOC BOCES in Grand Gorge. He is employed as heavy equipment operator for the town of Harpersfield, and has been a volunteer firefighter for the Stamford Fire Department since 1998.
On April 22, the groom-to-be surprised the bride-to-be with an engagement ring on her favorite beach, Luffenholtz beach in Trinidad, Calif.
The couple plan to wed in July.
