Rick and Deborah Ritchey of Otego announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacey L. Ritchey, to Barrett K. Smith, son of Cindy Figger and Bryan Smith of New Berlin.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Unatego Central School, and earned a bachelor's degree in business economics from the State University College at Cortland in 2007.
The groom-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Unadilla Valley Central School, and earned an associate degree in general studies from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 2007.
An Aug. 14 wedding is being planned.
