Coinciding with our websites redesign, we launched our new story comments feature through Disqus.

10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.
4. Stay within the boundaries of these rules.

Lane - VanDeusen

Kathryn Louise Lane and Matthew James VanDeusen are engaged to marry Aug. 6.

The bride-to-be is the daughter Peter and Cynthia Lane of Oneonta.

She is a 2005 graduate of Milford Central School, a 2009 graduate of the State University College at Oneonta with a bachelor's degree in early childhood and childhood education.

She is employed at Bugbee Children's Center in Oneonta.

Her fiance is the son of Robert and Beth VanDeusen of Oneonta.

He is a 2004 graduate of Laurens Central School and is employed at Corning Life Sciences in Oneonta.

The couple live in Mount Vision.
