12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.

Murphy - Dolan

Nancy Kelly of Cooperstown and Brian Murphy of Amenia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Marie Murphy, to Andrew Peter Marieskind Dolan.

The future bride is a 1996 graduate of Cooperstown High School and received her bachelor of arts degree from Seattle University in 2002. She works at S.L. Start and Associates as a community resource manager and is pursuing her Ph.D. degree from University of California, Los Angeles, in psychology.

Her fiance is a software engineer and a graduate of the University of Chicago, where he received his bachelor of science degree in computer science. He works at Boeing in software engineering and is pursuing his master of science degree from Washington State University in Engineering Management.

The couple live in Renton, Wash., and is planning a November 2010, wedding at the Ashford Castle in Cong County of Mayo, Ireland.
