Jim and Jan Johnson of Gilbertsville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kate Johnson, to Matt Pavia of Webster.
The bride-to-be received her bachelor's degree in communication and rhetoric from Nazareth College in 2008, and is a 2004 graduate of Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School.
The groom-to-be received his master's degree in business management in 2012 and his bachelor's degree in 2008 from Nazareth College. He is a 2004 graduate of Webster Thomas. He is the son of Jim Pavia of Rochester and Lori Norris of Webster.
The couple live in Rochester, where they own a home.
They met at Nazareth College in Rochester, and will be getting married in the campus chapel Aug. 3.
