Crystal Hanna and Nicholas Wood were married at a 3 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Assembly of God Church in Oneonta.
The Rev. John Grenier officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Lisa Hanna, and the groom is the son of Bob and Carol Wood.
Both the bride and groom are 2004 graduates of Oneonta High School.
The groom obtained his associate degree in culinary arts in 2006 and his bachelor's degree in business administration in 2008 from the State University College of Technology at Delhi.
The bride received a bachelor's degree in creative arts in psychology (self-designed major) in 2008 from Russell Sage College, and is beginning her master's degree in adult education this fall at State University College at Buffalo.
The maid of honor was Amanda Powers of Milford and the best man was Greg Neil of Clinton. Bridesmaids were April and Jessica Hanna, sisters of the bride, Terry Solovitch of Oneonta and Lauren Loiselle of Albany. The groomsmen were Benjamin Wood, brother of the groom, Christopher Hanna, brother of the bride, Jeremiah Wood and Joshua Wood, cousins of the groom, and Benjamin Franks, all of Oneonta. The flower girl was Ava Baker, and ring bearer was Nicholas Baker of Schenevus.
The reception was held at the Sixth Ward Athletic Club. It was catered by award-winning chef Joseph Poon of Philadelphia, longtime special friend of the Wood family.
The bride and groom are living in Rochester.
