Stephanie Nichole Sheldon and Chad Joseph Harris are engaged to marry.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dave and Bonnie Sheldon of Cherry Valley. She is a 2001 graduate of Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School and a 2003 graduate of Herkimer Community College. She is employed at Bassett Healthcare in medical school administration.

Her fiance is the son of Joe and Jean Harris of Middlefield. He is a 2000 graduate of Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School, and a 2004 graduate of the State University of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. He is employed at Hubbell and Sons General Contracting.

The couple will marry Aug. 22. They live in Middlefield.
