11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.

Whitbeck-Cole - Watters

Carolyn and Christopher Cole of South Kortright announce the engagement of their daughter, Marléna Whitbeck-Cole, to Jeffrey Watters.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of South Kortright Central School. She is employed at the state Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities as a developmental assistant.

Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Margaretville Central School. He is self-employed with Watters' Excavation and Logging.

The couple live in New Kingston. They plan to marry Aug. 8.
