Delaware County to have H1N1 clinics

Delaware County Public Health has announced the following free clinics for vaccination against the H1N1 flu:

-- On Friday, a free H1N1 flu-shot clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Delhi American Legion on Page Avenue. Walk-ins are welcome, and Delaware County Public Health requests no phone calls be made for appointments, as they are not necessary.

Residents of Delaware County who are eligible for this clinic are adults 18 years and older.

Only shots will be available at this clinic.

-- On Wednesday, Dec. 30, there will be a free H1N1 flu-shot and nasal-mist clinic at Roxbury Central School on Route 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, and Delaware County Public Health requests no phone calls be made for appointments, as they are not necessary.

Residents of Delaware County who are eligible for this clinic are those 6 months and older.

Delaware County Public Health reminds residents that people older than 65 are now eligible to receive the H1N1 vaccine.
