Street Talk for October 26, 2009

Question of the week: Do you think Halloween should be just for kids?

“No, because it’s for parents, too. Anyone is allowed to dress up how they want for Halloween; that’s the fun in it.”

— Ali Eardley, seventh grader, Oneonta

“Adults can be a part of it with their kids. It’s a lot of fun, and just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you only get to hand out the candy.”

— Emily Kuhlmann, fifth grader, Oneonta

“No, because parents are a part of it anyway, and we have fun with it too.”

— Tiffany Marshall, parent, Oneonta

“Halloween is for everyone. There is no age limit to fun.”

— Bonnie Bouton, parent, Oneonta

“It should only be for little kids. Adults already got to participate in it when they were kids. It’s just part of growing up.”

— Heather Gaudino, unemployed, Oneonta

“Probably, but it’s really anyone’s right to take part in it appropriately, just as long as everyone stays safe.”

— Adam Martin, dispatcher, Milford
