Has the crisis in Japan changed your opinion about nuclear power?

"If it's placed well and not on a fault line, it can be a good thing. Just as long as they are careful where they go they are a good thing."

_ Derek Sherry, Laurens, student.

"No, has given me more credence to have it. Even with an earthquake and tsunami things have for the most part held up."

_ Thomas Murphy, Hartwick, student.

"My opinion hasn't changed, my biggest concern is the disposal of the waste products."

_ Abbey Koutnik, Oneonta, special education teacher.

"I wasn't a believer in it anyways. Even though the Japanese reactors weren't built like the ones in Chernobyl."

_ Ed Bugel, Oneonta, carpenter.

"No, the Japanese are very technologically oriented and very equipped for what happened."

_ Joyce Soposki, Mohawk, lab tech.

"I think nuclear power can be a good thing, but people immediately think it becomes a bad thing after something like that."

_ Frank Companie, Oneonta, business owner.
