---- — Richard L. and Dora Y. Cooke of Fly Creek, celebrated 55 years of marriage on Jan. 1.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Cooke are graduates of Morris Central School. He is the son of the late Kenneth and Lucy Cooke, and she is the daughter of the late Glen and Gladys McWilliams, all of Morris.
Mr. Cooke is a former employee of H.W. Naylor Co. in Morris and the Leatherstocking Corp. in Cooperstown. Mrs. Cooke was for years a town clerk and a town of Otsego judge.
They have three children, Dana of Syracuse, Darrin of Burlington Flats, and Denelle of Amherst, Mass.; and four grandchildren.
The couple celebrated their anniversary on Dec. 30 at Brooks’ House of Bar-B-Qs with many family members and lifelong friend, Charlotte Harrington.
