---- — Marriage is between
a man and a woman
What do you think of marriage? Marriage is between a man and a woman.
In families, children need a mother and a father. In a same-sex marriage this is not possible. Girls need to be with their fathers. Children who are adopted need a mother and a father, not two people of the same gender, even if they are married. Gay marriages confuse the gender roles for children. One of the reasons that a man and a woman get married is so they can have children together. However, with same-sex marriages, they cannot procreate.
Some religious people think that same-sex marriage is wrong. It is non-compatible with the teachings of the texts and traditions of many religions. The legalization may add confusion to children when they see churches marry same-sex couples but hear in the teachings it is wrong.
Now think again, the same question, what do you think of marriage? Marriage is between a man and a woman; it always has been and always will be.
