With regard to the very recent action of the state Legislature in favor of stricter gun regulations, this doesn't purport to be a "quote," but an article in the Wednesday, Jan. 16, edition of The Daily Star (page 2), cites State Sen. James Seward as having "noted the overwhelming majority of his constituents were opposed to the new restrictions."
Wow, that must have been some survey — unless of course the "majority of his constituents" canvassed were only those in the immediate range of his voice. What, it may be asked, was the actual count, Senator?
