Care at Manor is among the best
For the past 40 years, my family has lived in Otsego County. For the past four weeks, I have been a resident of the Manor, where I went for rehabilitation services. I was distressed to learn that the county board of representatives has voted to put the Manor up for sale.
From my point of view, the rehab services available at the Manor are second to none. The physical and occupational therapies offered really helped me strengthen my muscles in order to continue walking. Muscle and balance issues were foremost in my care.
I have been to other rehab facilities, but none of them measured up to the care and professionalism shown at the Manor! From the nursing care to the aides’ help; from the pharmaceutical and preparation and delivery of meals; to the special one-on-one thoughtfulness of employees, I just cannot say enough.
As a taxpayer, I too am concerned about the increased expenses involved in the care given. However, please don’t let this fine facility just go “by the board.”
Please write your representative and together we can try to save the Manor.
