As Pat was an organ donor, it would be Pat's wish that anyone would consider becoming a donor in Pat's memory, www.donatelifetexas.org.

Patricia is survived by her mother, Gert Shader; brother, Kyle Shader and wife Mikki; nephews, Nathan and Brendan Shader of New York; aunt, Ella Eldred; aunt and uncle, Charles and Marion Shader, all of Oneonta. She was mommy to the love of her life and her best friend, Toby, her Husky; and several cousins, many friends in Texas and in New York, and friends in the U.S. Navy.

Pat was a wonderful daughter and friend to everyone. There was never an animal that she didn't love. She loved her horses, donkeys, and Max.

She left us too soon but will live in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Clara Eldred; and Charles and Alice Shader.

Special thanks to the ICU at DRMC and to South West Transplant Alliance for their compassion and understanding.
