10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.

Dorothy Gloria Roberts

HARPURSVILLE _ Dorothy Gloria Roberts, 63, of Harpursville and formerly of Oneonta, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

She was born March 1, 1949, in Ilion, the daughter of the late Robert Rood Sr. and Florence (Mykel) Rood.

She is survived by two sons, Roy Roberts of Owego and David and Amber Roberts of Oswego; one granddaughter, Adeline Roberts; four sisters; four brothers; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Roberts; one sister; and one brother.

A graveside memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, in the Glenwood Cemetery, Oneonta.
