Walter Edward Raymond
BAINBRIDGE _ Walter Edward Raymond, 59, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday. July 11, 2012 at his home.
He was born Nov. 25, 1952, son of the late Edward and Nellie (Thomas) Raymond in Sidney.
Walter graduated from Bainbridge-Guilford High School in 1970. He purchased Raymond TV Service and Repair from his father which he continued to operate in Bainbridge.
Walter had a fervent passion for nature and the environment. He attended Pines Brook Baptist Church in Walton.
Walter's family included eight kitties. He is also survived by two sisters, Katharine Furgeson, Lakeland Fla., and Delilah Narvaez, Viera, Fla.; two nieces, Michele Furgeson and Tighe and Tammie Cardarelli; four nephews, Christopher Furgeson, Micheal Furgeson, Scott Furgeson and Matthew Narvaez; five grandnieces, five great-nephews and a great-great-nephew.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney.
A memorial service will at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the Pines Brook Baptist Church, 1293 Left Pines Brook Road, Walton, with the Rev. Carl Butler, officiating. The burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bainbridge.
