Donald H. Fancher
WORCESTER _ Donald H. Fancher, 82, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 9, 1929, in Richmondville, the son of Hayward and Ethel (Henness) Fancher.
Donald married Leona Kniskern on Dec. 15, 1949. She predeceased him on Feb. 1, 2005.
He worked at the Worcester Creamery as a milk inspector for many years.
Donald is survived by a his daughter, Donna and Randy Lewis of Auburn, Ga.; his sons, Steven and Amy Fancher of Worcester, Scott and Angela Fancher of Schenevus and Randall and Marie Fancher of Worcester; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two nieces, Kathy and Karen; a nephew, Mike; a brother, Paul Fancher of Decatur; a sister, Shirley Eichhorn of Laurens; many other nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Anna Weidman of Richmondville.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Francis and Harold Fancher; and a sister, Dorothy Yates.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester. Donald's great-niece, Melissa McCarthy will officiate the service.
