Cara Elizabeth Fuller

DELHI -- Cara Elizabeth Fuller, 35, of Garfield Heights, Ohio, a Delhi native and former resident, passed away suddenly, Thursday, June 7, 2012, at the A. O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.

The daughter of Stanley V. and Joanne (Lewis) Fuller, Cara was born July 13, 1976, in Oneonta, spending her early years in Delhi, where she was a 1994 honors graduate of Delaware Academy, receiving her BA in 2000 from SUNY Oneonta. An active Girl Scout, Cara served as a counselor for several summers at Camp Amahami, Deposit.

Cara lived in the Cleveland, Ohio, area since 2001, where she was employed as a bookkeeper for Drake Construction Company. An avid scrapbooker, she made beautiful handmade cards and also enjoyed traveling, having visited 48 states.

Surviving are her parents, Stanley and Joanne Fuller of Delhi; sister and brother-in-law, Kelly Fuller and Philip Snyder of Bloomingdale; grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Lewis, Oneonta; aunts and uncles, Jeanne Lewis of Oneonta, James (Diane) Lewis of Kirkwood, Janice (Kevin) Yost of Canajoharie, Julie Lewis of Oneonta, Grace (Charles) Dietzman of Delhi, David (Beverly) Fuller of Delhi, Patricia (John) Svegl of Bloomville, and Wayne Benjamin of St. Johnsville; and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Stanley V. Fuller, Sr. and Dora Kathmann Fuller Benjamin.

Friends may call 3 to 5 pm Sunday, June 10, at the Hall & Peet Funeral Home, Delhi and funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Delhi. The Rev John E. Priest and the Rev Paul R. Messner will officiate.
