Margaret Watts Taylor
EAST GUILFORD _ Margaret Watts Taylor, 89, of East Guilford, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Ideal Senior Living Center in Endicott.
She was born Oct. 9, 1922, daughter of the late John and Ada (Townsend) Watts in Johnson City.
Margaret married Clinton Taylor on Oct. 11, 1941, in Johnson City. He predeceased her on June 12, 1985.
Margaret was a longtime employee of Smith Jewelers in Sidney and a dedicated volunteer of The Hospital Guild in Sidney. She was also a devoted member of the East Guilford Presbyterian Church.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Uhorchak and her husband, Robert, Cary, N.C., and Cheryl Eaton and her husband, Walter, Chesapeake, Va.; two sons, Russell Taylor and his wife, Robin, Virginia Beach, Va., and Robert Taylor and his wife, Amy, New Milford, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by her sister, Madeline Erwin.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, in East Guilford Cemetery. The Rev. Patty Wolff, pastor of the East Guilford Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
