8. Content that is harmful to children and minors in any way.
9. References to any type of sexual activity and other private matters.
10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

WE ENCOURAGE REASONABLE AND COURTEOUS COMMENTS THAT:

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.
4. Stay within the boundaries of these rules.

ANDES _ Graveside services will be held in the North Kortright Cemetery at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, for Earl Barrett, 57, who died unexpectedly on April 1, 2012, in Rockhill, S.C. The Rev. Larry Lawrence Dunlap of Andes Methodist Church, officiating.

He is survived by brothers, James, Thomas and John Barrett of Andes, Gary Barrett of Davenport, Arthur Barrett of Carlisle, Joseph and Lewis Barrett of Arizona, Timothy Barrett of Endicott, Carl Barrett of Oneonta, Bernie Barrett of Montana; and sister, Mary Lou Matthews of Hamden.

He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Barrett; one sister, Carol Finch; and one brother, Dale Barrett.
