STAMFORD — Vincent L. Shelley, 78, passed away on Oct. 15, 2012. Vincent was born on Jan. 6, 1934 in Brooklyn. He was an avid hunter and dedicated over 30 years of his life to volunteer firefighting on Long Island. He served during the Korean War and was discharged honorably. He will be remembered with love by his 13 children, 19 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. His sister Delores and brothers Anthony and Roy, as well as nieces and nephew. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Hall-Tari Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Stamford, on Friday Oct. 19, 2012. A service will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Waylen Bray officiating. Condolences may be left on the funeral home website, halltarifh.com Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Hall-Tari Funeral Home, Stamford, under the direction of William A. Tari.
