Maryellen Johns Jacques

CHERAW, S.C. — Maryellen Johns Jacques, 50, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012. Born in Oneonta, she was a daughter of Morris Raymond and Marjorie Ann Robinson Johns of Cheraw, SC.

Maryellen was a 4-H Club member and leader, a member of AQHA and served with the Wellsbridge Fire Department . She was an EMT with the Otego Emergency Squad. She was a member of the Butternut Valley Grange. She had been a member of Sandhill United Methodist Church and currently was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

Survivors are parents listed above, sons, Jason ( Cindy Cry) Jacques of Greene, Jared (Trish Ross) of Cheraw, SC; a sister, Marcia (James J.) Johns Bullis of Chesterfield, SC; Kerri Johns of Mount Upton; grandchildren, Zoey and Bailey. She is also survived by her fiancée Kevin Eberling and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family received friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday Oct. 12, 2012 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Cheraw, SC. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Mount Vision Cemetery, Mount Vision.
