Virginia E. 'Ginny' Lambrecht

SIDNEY -- Virginia E. "Ginny" Lambrecht, 84, of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Valley View Nursing Home, Norwich.

She was born April 9, 1928, in Walton the daughter of the late James and Frances (Shackelton ) Puffer.

Ginny was retired after working many years in the shipping department at Amphenol in Sidney.

She is survived by her son, Gerry E. Lambrecht and his companion, Ruth Reynolds of Walton; a daughter, Elaine (Scott ) DeVost of Sidney; a daughter-in-law, Terry L. Lambrecht of Trout Creek; a sister, Winifred (Winnie) Roof of Sidney Center; a sister-in-law, Doris Puffer of Sidney Center; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeased by a son, Terry Lambrecht and a brother, Clifton Puffer.

At Ginny's request there will be no calling hours. Private graveside services will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park,Vestal.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested donations be made to Sidney Center Emergency Squad, 10433 County Highway 23, Sidney Center, NY 13839.

Funeral arrangements are by Westcott Funeral Home Inc. Unadilla.
