10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.

Joan (Joann) Braun

OTEGO _ Joan (Joann) Braun passed away May 23, 2012, at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton.

She was born in Brooklyn on May 22, 1947.

Joann is survived by her loving husband, Robert; two wonderful daughters and spouses, Dorene and Lou Commisso and Christine and Charles Licastri; her beloved wonderful grandsons, Vincent and Robert Commisso and Vincent Licastri; her brothers and families, Edward and Pat, Gerard and Maureen and Thomas Gearrity; and sister, Judith Cashman and family; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her greatest passion was dancing, arts and crafts.

Services were held at Krauss Funeral Home in Franklin Square.
