EAST WORCESTER _ Thomas F. Ellis, 78, passed away July 8, 2012, at the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.

He was born on March 18, 1934, in Poughkeepsie, the son of James Frank and Irene (LaRose) Ellis.

Thomas was a real estate broker and contractor who lived locally for the past 32 years.

He is survived by four children; six grandchildren; and five siblings.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the Oneonta Assembly of God Church, 1667 County Highway 48, in Oneonta with the Rev. John Grenier officiating. A calling hour will be held from noon until the service time.
