RICHFIELD SPRINGS _ Hazel Jane Babral, 81, of Richfield Springs passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown. She was born Sept. 14, 1930, in Edmeston, the daughter of Elwood and Mabel (Pederson) Anderson. On Sept. 27, 1964, she married Ingo Babral. He predeceased her on Aug. 14, 2003.

Hazel was a self-employed home health care provider and known to many in the area. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed socializing at the Senior Center in Richfield Springs. She enjoyed needlework in her spare time.

Her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephew survive Hazel. In addition to her husband, Ingo, she was predeceased by her sisters, Mabel Louise Lennon and Helen Miller. and her brother, Kenneth Anderson.

Funeral services for Hazel will be Sunday, July 22, at 2 p.m. at the Richfield Springs Bible Church with the Rev. David Tosi officiating. A calling hour will be held just prior to the service, starting at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be on Monday, July 23, at Edmeston Union Cemetery.
