MARGARETVILLE _ John W. Morris, 32, died May 3, 2012, at Margaretville Hospital from injuries due to an ATV accident in the town of Andes.

He was born on Aug. 1, 1979, in Harris, the son of Robin (Wolcutt) and stepson of Bruce Soules.

John graduated from the Margaretville Central School in 1999. He was employed as a lift operator at Belleayre Ski Center, Highmount. He loved to be outdoors, fishing, working at the Beaverkill Campsite and enjoyed working and playing with kids.

Survived by his mother and stepfather, Robin and Bruce Soules; brothers, Jeremy Morris, Justin, Dustin, Kevin and Robert Soules; sisters, Erica and Elizabeth Morris and Janice Winner; nephews, Carter and Mason; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral and committal will be held in the Margaretville Cemetery Annex at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012, at the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville.

Donations may be made to the Margaretville Fire Department in memory of John W. Morris.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville.
