10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.
4. Stay within the boundaries of these rules.

Stewart Wilcox

SYRACUSE _ Stewart Wilcox of 817 Fay Road, Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, after a brief illness.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty (Dumond) Wilcox; a son, John H. Wilcox of Knoxville, Tenn.; a daughter, Pamela W. Salisbury, living in Syracuse; a brother, Niles Wilcox of Raleigh, N.C.; three grandchildren, Amanda L. Salisbury, Donald Wilcox, and Patti Jo Wilcox; and two great-grandchildren, Henry and Thomas Wilcox.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 126 South Terry Road, Syracuse, NY 13219.

Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Robinson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 126 South Terry Road, Syracuse, NY 13219.
