David Pysnik
SIDNEY -- Beloved husband, father, grandfather and son, David Pysnik, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 12, 2012.
He dedicated 37 years to teaching chemistry at Sidney High School, impacting generations of students. He received multiple national recognitions for teaching and research and won numerous community service awards. He was a cherished member of the community. His contagious laugh, loving smile and unconditional kindness will be greatly missed.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Gaby; mother, Madeline Pysnik; children, Beth and Pete Kramer, Eric and Hilary Pysnik, Stephen Pysnik, Mary Pysnik and Annie Pysnik; and grandchildren, Christian, Andrew and Aiden.
Friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 16, at Sacred Heart Church, 15 Liberty St., Sidney, with Monsignor James Cox as celebrant. Burial with military honors will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney.
