8. Content that is harmful to children and minors in any way.
9. References to any type of sexual activity and other private matters.
10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

WE ENCOURAGE REASONABLE AND COURTEOUS COMMENTS THAT:

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.
4. Stay within the boundaries of these rules.

Lynn Haring Ciganek

LAURENS _ Lynn Haring Ciganek passed away on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; sons, Robert Paul and Brendan Frank; and her beloved grandsons, Aedan, Judah and Gavin.

Written by her Grandmother, Lynn's personally favorite poem reflects her feelings for all of the loved ones she touched.

If, in the years without me,

Memory stirs in tender heart,

Here will be found the key to what I was;The continuity … you'll miss.

But, if you ever wonder "What was she really like?"

Here lies the answer:

Within my heart of hearts was always you …The rest marked time.

Your happiness was mine.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be sent to the Catskill Area Hospice, 1 Birchwood Drive, Oneonta, NY 13820 or Walden Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Albany Post Road, Montgomery, NY 12549.
