Mary E. Myers
NEW LISBON — Mary E. Myers, 68, of New Lisbon, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at her home on Aug. 30, 2012.
She was born in Mohawk, to Leonard and Mildred (Day) Worden Sr.
She grew up in Schuyler Lake, and in her adult years lived in Morris and New Lisbon.
Mary retired from Brooks’ House of Bar-B-Q’s after 19 years.
Mary loved to bake cakes, cook and as of late was an avid casino goer.
She loved spending time with family. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. Mary adored her many pets throughout the years. Mary recently became an active member of the Red Hats Society.
Mary is survived by her children, Robert L. Myers Jr. and his wife, Debra and their eight children of Morris, Rebecca L. Ilarraza and her husband, Edwin and their two children of New Lisbon, Rachel L. Myers and her significant other, Kevin Edwards of Cohoes. She is also survived by her siblings, sister, Beverly Mallette, brother, Richard Worden and his wife, Beatrice, sister, Emily Worden, sister, Nancy Lawton, sister, Grace Worden, and brother, Leonard Worden Jr.; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Mildred Worden; brother, Lawrance (Bud) Worden; granddaughter, Emma Faith Myers; and nephew, Donald Worden.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at the Morris Firehouse at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, with Pastor Nancy Stanley officiating.
A private burial will follow.
