7. Accusations of criminal activity.
8. Content that is harmful to children and minors in any way.
9. References to any type of sexual activity and other private matters.
10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.

Gary Miller

SPRINGFIELD CENTER — Gary Miller passed away on Dec. 18, 2012. Born in Fullerton, Calif., on May 12, 1955, he married Youvonne Miller June 4, 1973.

Gary loved fishing, a cold beer and helping others. He was always taking in strangers off the street, giving them a hot meal and a place to stay. He loved to travel and his dog, Selena.

Gary is survived by his wife of 40 years, Youvonne Miller; four children, Penny and husband, Mark Whitehill, Mickey, Leonard and David; 10 grandchildren, Chantel, Brendan, Brianna, Zane, Cassie, Caprice, Cierra, Len, Dillan, Sebastian; and one great-grandchild, Ascher. He is also survived by three siblings, Mike, Donna, Linda and his mother, Doris.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald Miller.

There will be a get-together to celebrate Gary’s life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at the West Oneonta Fire House.
