9. References to any type of sexual activity and other private matters.
10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.

Myrtle Ellen Bernhardt

SIDNEY — Myrtle Ellen Bernhardt passed away in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Nov. 16, 2012.

Ellen is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann Bernhardt of Unadilla and Pat Laube of Pittsfield, Maine; a son, Ed Bernhardt, Fitchburg, Wis.; and five grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sidney, followed by a reception and fellowship in the church hall.

Donations may be made to the Sunny Meadows Residential Home’s Activity Fund in Auburn, Ind., or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Ind.
