Trudy Baker

SIDNEY — Trudy Baker, 90, of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, in Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich.

She was born Nov. 29, 1921, to the late Frederick and Fanny (Haller) Wuthrich Sr. in Meiringen, Switzerland.

Trudy owned and operated Trudy’s Shoes in Sidney for many years and attended the First Congregational Church in Sidney.

She is survived by her brother, Fred Wuthrich Jr., Sidney; sister, Erna Babcock, Sidney; nephew, Jason Babcock, Sidney.

She was also predeceased by her longtime companion, Bill Latus; and sister, Dora Lang

Friends may call at their convenience on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, 101 East Main St., Sidney, NY 13838.

Condolences may be directed online to www.landersfh.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney.
