ONEONTA — Doris G. Pulver, 86, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2013, at A.O. Fox Nursing Home, Oneonta.
She was born May 28, 1926, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Roy and Helen (Hopkins) Henry.
Doris married Everett C. Pulver on June 24, 1950.
She was predeceased by her husband in 2003; and her only child, Everett Pulver Jr. in 1973.
She is survived by her sister, Deborah Brown of East Rockaway; three brothers-in-law and their families, Morgan Pulver, James Pulver and Fred Pulver; and several nieces and nephews.
Doris was a faithful member of the West Davenport Free Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved to converse with all types of people.
She and her husband owned Duke’s Place in East Worcester. She at one time worked at Guidepost in Carmel and Bresee’s Department Store in Oneonta.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with Pastor Stephen Estes and Pastor Chuck Gleason, co-officiating.
Interment with her husband will be in the Pawling Cemetery at a later date.

Doris’s family would like to thank the nursing staff on the 2nd unit of the A.O. Fox Nursing Home for the wonderful care and the compassionate comfort care of Hospice in her final hours.
