10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.

Janet Lorraine Woodrow

HAINES CITY, Fla. — Janet Lorraine Woodrow, 65, of Haines City, Fla., died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, in her home following a nine month battle with stage four cancer.

Janet, formerly of Maryland, attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and was a graduate of Oneonta High School. She worked for many years at Wilber National Bank and then at both Schenevus and Cooperstown schools in the business office.

Janet is survived by her husband, Gary; two daughters, Shelly and Maria; two grandchildren, Xander and Micayla; and three siblings, Paulette, Loretta and Daniel.

Janet desired no funeral services, but requested that sympathies be expressed by donations to Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care, 2590 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven, FL 33881 or to the First United Methodist Church of Lake Alfred, P.O. Box 1227, Lake Alfred, FL 33850.
