11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.

Alonzo (Lon) Ferris

SANTEE, Calif. — Lon Ferris, 71, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, with his wife, Toni, by his side, following a brief battle with cancer.

He was born Sept. 10, 1941, in Poughkeepsie, the son of Emerson and Mary (Thompson) Ferris.

Lon will be laid to rest with full military honors in Miramar National Cemetery in California on Monday, March 11, 2013.
