EDMESTON – Anita Jaeger was reunited with her beloved husband in heaven on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. She died peacefully at Bassett Healthcare Network in Cooperstown, with her family at her bedside.

Henry and Anita shared a love for travel, frequenting trips with the Oneonta Bus lines. Their travels included trips to Alaska, Hawaii, many southern states and one of their favorite places; Branson, Missouri.
Anita loved to tend to her large vegetable and flower gardens and preserve everything she could through canning. Among the favorites were her jams, jellies and dilly beans. She was also an avid baker, especially of pumpkin cookies. She loved to go to the barn to feed and take care of her barn cats, hold the cow’s tails and keep an eye on everything. Anita also loved to listen to music, especially Charlie Pride. When she was in the house, she loved to crochet, collect Fenton glassware, cultivate her African violet and amaryllis collections, and take care of her beloved “BooBoo” cat.
Anita is survived by her sons, Larry, Mike and Rick (David) Jaeger; her daughter, Sue and David Holbert; her grandchildren Andrea and Brian Blackwell, Jason Holbert and David E.
