Janet Marie (Doyle) Terrell
WORCESTER _ Janet Marie (Doyle) Terrell, 71, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at Wilkes-Barre (Kindred) Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., after a short illness.
She was born on Aug. 9, 1940, the daughter of the late Ernest and Marie Doyle. She was a graduate of Charlotte Valley School in Davenport.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Christopher M. Terrell of Worcester, whom she married on May 28, 1960; her four children, Dennis (Tammy) Terrell of Hartwick, Carol (William) White of Sprakers, Richard Terrell of Worcester and Michael (Monica) Terrell of Thousand Island; six grandchildren, Christopher and Jason White, Samantha, Dakota, and Cheyenne Terrell and Sophia Terrell; six sisters, three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; and one sister.
Janet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a caring person who always put her family first and loved them all unconditionally. Janet was a homemaker and also worked as a cook at Buck Hill Farms for their pancake breakfast, which she enjoyed very much.
She loved watching her soap opera, listening to music, and baking. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Janet was a member of St. Anna's and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Worcester, with the Rev. Ronald Green, MM as celebrant. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexander, VA 22312 or to the charity of one's choice.
