Sara Ann Hunt

OTEGO — Sara Ann Hunt, 68, of Otego, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Otsego Manor in Cooperstown.

She was born April 13, 1944, in West Point, the daughter of the late Edwin H. Hunt Sr. and Mary (Miller) Hunt.

For many years, Sara was a seamstress at Sanyo in Oneonta until their closure.

Sara was a member of the Otego Presbyterian Church, Otego.

Sara is survived by her brothers, Edwin H. Hunt Jr. and his wife, Jenny of Colonial Heights, Va., and John D. Hunt of Otego; one nephew, Patrick D. Hunt and his wife, Rose of Petersburg, Va.; as well as several cousins.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 34 River St., Otego.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, with the Rev. Douglas Horne, pastor of the Otego Presbyterian Church officiating.

Memorial donations in Sara’s name may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
