William R. Moore Sr.

SIDNEY _ William R. Moore Sr., 65, of Sidney, died at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy (Lane) Moore; five children: Shelley (Wayne) Gregory, William Jr. (Karen) Moore, Kathryn (Johnny) Desai, Paul (Kristi) Moore and Keona Moore; brothers and sisters, Kathy Moore, Carolyn Brown, Bucky Moore, Thomas Moore, Robin Moore, Paula Thomas and Beth Moore; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; his faithful dog companions, Serenity, Kasey, Gizmo and Bambi.

He was also predeceased by his brother and sister, Ricky Moore and Carri Michalski.

Bill had worked for 26 years for Becton-Dickinson in Hancock. He was a member of the NRA, an avid sportsman and knives and gun collector.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at the Zacharias Funeral Home at 78 Second St., Deposit.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
