COMMENTING ON STORIES:

10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.

SIDNEY _ Rock Cornell, passed away peacefully in his home Aug. 11, 2012, at 55 years of age. His final days were spent surrounded by loved ones.

Those who were touched by Rock realize the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Rock was a loving, happy go lucky kind of guy; animated and full of life. His friends and loved ones valued his prankster like personality; his free spirit. He enjoyed listening and dancing to music. He was known for providing and receiving hugs. His name describes the strong man who overcame many obstacles in his life, he was a fighter to the end. Rock, your courage and strength remind us of the preciousness of life. We will miss you!!!

On Aug. 17, 2012, friends and loved ones are invited to the Kenneth L. Bennett Funeral Home, 425 Main St., Franklin for calling hours from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ben Ampong, officiating. Rock will be laid to rest in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Emmons.
