9. References to any type of sexual activity and other private matters.
10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.
4. Stay within the boundaries of these rules.

June B. Stiefel

ONEONTA _ June B. Stiefel, 76, of Oneonta, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at the A.O. Fox Nursing Home, Oneonta.

She was born Feb. 26, 1936, in Albany, the daughter of the late James and Ethel Brabt.

For many years, June worked at the telephone company in Oneonta.

June is survived by her husband, Richard H. Stiefel of Oneonta; and her sister, Katherine.

At June's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
