Patrick Joseph 'Pat' Gallagher
PLATTSBURGH _ Mr. Patrick Joseph "Pat" Gallagher, 42, of McDonough Street in Plattsburgh, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Port Jefferson, Long Island, on Nov. 18, 1969, the son of Dr. John and Barbara (Schroeder) Gallagher.
Patrick was a graduate of Plattsburgh High School Class of 1988, and attended Canisius College in Buffalo and Oneonta State College. He went on to receive his Professional Golf Association credentials and worked 11 years in the golf business. Pat worked at area golf courses and lastly at Saranac Lake Golf Course. He also worked in the food industry at various restaurants for eight years. At the time of his death, he was a production assistant for Northeast Productions. Pat had a passion for golf and his dogs. He established many friendships that he truly cherished.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Marie Schroeder; and his paternal grandfather, John Gallagher.
Patrick is survived by his parents, Dr. John and Barbara Gallagher of Plattsburgh; a brother, Sean Gallagher and his wife, Paula; two nephews, Kevin and Jonah; and a niece, Zoe, all of Baltimore, Md.; his paternal grandmother, Catherine Gallagher of Oneonta; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him; and his canine companion, Hagen.
A reflection and celebration of Pat's life will be held later this year and will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Adirondack Humane Society or the Elmore SPCA.
