OTEGO —

Cheers to Bob Rosen of East Meredith, Joan Tubridy of Delhi, Teresa Winchester of Otego and Michael Kane of Bloomville, and any and all people who have spoken out or actively engaged in opposition to this gas drilling issue. You can sleep well at night knowing you did not condone the destruction of our rural area and environment by the lure of big money.

A wise man once told me that there was never a fortune made in this world but what someone got took. How true that is. That someone could very well be you. Think hard, people. Make your stand against big oil to all your elected officials. Look to what happened in some cases in Pennsylvania. Look to the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, which is yet another issue to be addressed.
